    David Thodey is Chairman of the CSIRO Board. He is an innovative Australian businessman and an experienced board chairman and senior executive who offers expertise in management, corporate and government relations, information and communications technology, and sales and marketing. Mr Thodey was the CEO of Telstra from May 2009 to April 2015, and prior to that had a 22-year career with IBM, working in senior marketing and sales positions, including CEO of IBM Australia/New Zealand. He is also on the Board of the GSM Association and has more than 20 years’ experience working in Asia. Former board memberships include co-chair of the Infrastructure and Investment Taskforce of the B20 leadership group, and Chairman of IBM ANZ, TelstraClear, Information Technology (IT) Skills Hub, Industry Groups and Basketball Australia.

Fierravanti-Wells is the Minister for International Development and the Pacific, since February 2016 in the Turnbull Government.     Girish Ramachandran is the Head of Asia Pacific (APAC) region of TCS.  In his previous role as the Corporate Vice President, he was a part of the CEO’s office and was responsible for strategic business initiatives for the organization. Girish joined TCS in 1994 and has held several key portfolios since then. He was the Head of Europe for over 9 years and Middle East, Africa and Mediterranean business for 2 years. During his tenure as the Head of Europe, he was instrumental in building business with many large and key customers ranging from Banking to Telecom. He also headed the Business Intelligence Practice worldwide and was the Executive Sponsor of customer relationships. He holds executive board positions at the Europe-India Institute and International Business Foundation Amsterdam. He is also the Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries’ Benelux chapter and is on the board of Kooh Sports. Girish holds a Master’s degree in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and is a recipient of the Frans Banninck Cocq Medal from the Mayor of Amsterdam.     Rob Marcolina joined Qantas Airways as Executive Manager, Group Strategy in October in 2012. Rob’s portfolio has grown to include Group Strategy, Group Transformation, Customer Insights and IT. Rob Marcolina was a partner in Bain & Company’s Sydney office. He joined Bain in 1999 working in its Los Angeles office and spent the majority of his Bain career based in the United States, before returning home to Australia in 2012. Before joining Bain, Rob worked for Marakon Associates in Australia and the United States and also spent a year working in Eastern Europe. Rob earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the United States.     Hirofumi Aihara is General Manager of Asian Systems Office, Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ taking a CIO role for APAC region (excluding Japan, China and Thailand). His vast professional experiences in both business and IT assisted him to collaborate with Regional C-Suites to provide IT services to the branches in 16 Asia and Oceania countries. Systems and information technology makes up a huge part of his career in MUFG and he has been working for  26 years holding positions in various areas of banking – Corporate Finance, Risk Management as well as implementing several projects to upgrade the bank’s IT infrastructure. Prior to Singapore, he spent significant time in Tokyo and America holding position as Chief Manager and Managing director of IT Planning department respectively. Since September 2014, he was posted to Singapore to lead Asian Systems Office and his team is actively exploring the latest in Fintech and adopting the technology.

    Markus Schulz is the Global Head of Controls for Financial Crimes Compliance at Standard Chartered. In his current role he looks after the FCC Controls framework for the Group including Customer & Transaction Surveillance, Financial Intelligence & Investigations, Sensitive Clients, Metrics, Analytics, Change & Delivery as well as Learning and owns all FCC systems. He is a trained banker by trade and has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services with more than half of his professional work dedicated to Compliance and Financial Crimes prevention for a number of global Financial Institutions.
