Latin America: For Smartphones or Tablets or Both? How Latin American Companies Design Their Mobile Apps


Like their counterparts from the three other regions of the world, the Latin American survey respondents to date had developed the majority of their mobile apps (73%) for either smartphones or tablets but not both devices. But they predicted that would change over the next three years, with a lower percentage (67%) designed for just a smartphone or tablet and a greater percentage (34%) to run on both devices. (See Exhibit VI-11.)
