DAY 3 – May 9, 2019:
For the last day of the event, we had our Sony customer speaker Marcin Blasinski, SAP Solutions Lead who spoke on how Sony Pictures Entertainment has profited from improved financial visibility into products, channels, and customers along with TCS’ Sameer Kamat, Partner, Consulting.
TCS, a proud sponsor of the SAP Concert, saw 25000 event attendees at the concert closing yet another successful year at the event. We concluded our grand presence at SAPPHIRE NOW 2019 with a celebration with our very special customers treated to an exclusive TCS VIP experience and premier access to the concert with a thrilling performance by today’s most inspiring and unconventional music artists and Oscar-winning ‘Born this Way’ superstar.
Day 2 – May 8, 2019:
Starting the day early, we hosted an exclusive finance leadership breakfast for our customers with our TCS leadership in the house – Kamal Bhadada – President, TCS Communications, Media & Information Systems, Akhilesh Tiwari – Global Head, Enterprise Applications and Vikas Gopal – Director – Finance Transformation, TCS Consulting & Systems Integration. And we were joined by Craig Eiter – VP, Commercial Processes and Programs Lead, Thomson Reuters as he shared valuable insights with the attendees during the session.
Bayer created an industrialized divestiture factory using cloud products from SAP as Bayer’s Head, IT – Jutta Valkenberg and TCS’ Parthiv Shah, Global Head, Customer Solutions, Enterprise Applications – SAP explained in their session.
TCS’ Jothivel Ganesan, Innovation Evangelist, SAP explained how TCS’ extended solutions on AWS are delivering guided outcomes for pharmaceutical customers.
Qiagen customer speaker Jack Carmi – Head, Global Application Services and TCS’ Himanshu Mishra explored how SAP cloud platform and TCS are transforming complex supply chains for the organization.
Lexmark’s Catherine Doyle, AMS Manager, SAP Architect said – ‘we reduced OPEX spend by 13%’ – while she, Billy Sparks Jr, Sr. Manager, Enterprise Applications, Lexmark and TCS’ Karthikeyan Sadasivam, Project Manager, SAP spoke about Lexmark’s SAP migration to Cloud leveraging the Machine First approach.
Jason Pant, VP, Supply Chain, Owens Corning, and Mathew Lekstutis, Managing Partner, Supply Chain, Consulting, TCS spoke on how the manufacturer was revolutionizing demand prediction through machine learning and IoT.
In our last session for the day, we had Associated British Port’s customer Janet Huckvale, HR Business Process Owner along with TCS’ Venkatraman Jayaraman, Program Manager, SAP as they shared insights on the company’s successful employee management transformation leveraging SAP solutions.
Day 1 – May 7, 2019:
SAPPHIRE NOW 2019 opened to an excellent start with energy and enthusiasm from our customers and event attendees alike thronging our TCS booth #701 on the Exhibition Floor. Here they explored more on how to scale their digital business for enterprise transformation with our innovative Business 4.0 solution offerings on IoT, analytics, AI and automation, blockchain and cloud.
Our customer speaker DJ Deleo, Director, Software Engineering, Cardinal Health and TCS expert – Anil Ozkaynak, Engagement Director, Consulting & Services Integration, TCS in a session spoke on how Cardinal Health achieved an acquisition-led growth strategy’ that yielded a new distribution hub in the Asia Pacific region.
From Thomson Reuters – Craig Eiter – VP, Commercial Processes and Programs Lead and Rakesh Jain Senior Director, Delivery DEP Technology along with Himanshu Mishra, Consultant, SAP, TCS spoke about how Thomson Reuters revolutionized the customer experience by reimagining front and back-office processes.
