ABOUT Seeta Hariharan

Seeta Hariharan is the General Manager and Group Head for Tata Consultancy Services’ Digital Software & Solutions Group, a strategic business unit. In her role at TCS, Seeta positioned the still young group for fast growth, market excellence and innovation, with an eye toward helping organizations leverage digital technologies to understand and better serve their customers throughout their unique enterprise journey. Previously, Seeta held global leadership roles across multiple industries at IBM in software, services, hardware, microelectronics, and mergers and acquisitions. During her tenure at IBM, she was part of a selected group of executives that attended the first two Smart City events hosted by IBM in Berlin and New York in 2009 that brought together city planners, mayors and other industry leaders; in each of these events she had responsibility for orchestrating a panel around Smart Energy that brought together energy policy makers and utility companies. Prior to IBM, she also contributed to an entrepreneurial venture that addressed an underserved technology market. Seeta is an accomplished speaker and is quoted frequently in leading industry publications. She holds both engineering and management degrees and is a co-inventor of 23 global patents.
